Family Crisis Counseling

A practical method which helps families strive toward this ideal has been available for over twenty years. But until now, it's been hidden within the field of family violence prevention. In March of 2000 Dr Steven Marrinson began to make this method better known by publishing a case study in the Family Therapy Networker illustrating its broader application. Basic harmony is his extension of the original method for use by all couples and families. This brochure lists the opportunities available for learning more about Basic Harmony.

Clinical psychology is a broad approach to human problems (both individual and interpersonal) consisting of assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, program development, administration, and research with regard to numerous populations, including children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, families, groups, and disadvantaged persons. There is overlap between some areas of clinical psychology and other professional fields of psychology such as counseling psychology and clinical neuropsychological, as well as some professional fields outside of psychology, such as psychiatry and social work

Our is a family violence prevention program. The program was co-founded by Dr. Marrinson in 1996 in collaboration with The Association on Battered Women in Clayton County.
